I was born and raised in San Diego, chasing bass in water hazards since I was five. When I moved to Northern California in my early twenties, fly fishing got a solid grip on me and my imagination. I started tying because flies were spendy and moved into my truck because houses are even more spenduy! I started to try and figure out how to create flies that mimicked what conventional bass anglers were fishing. When my truck was about to explode with materials and gear I was reintroduced to civilization, I started to guide, and work as a sales rep for some of the best companies in the fly-fishing industry. I am now the Director of Product development for Loon outdoors as well as manage 8 companies’ sales in the southwest. My family gives me total support my wife, fish bum kids, and two labs never hesitate to spend a day on the water exploring new areas to fish!
